A storyteller with a unique story.
I have worked in several corporate offices while writing fiction, screenplays, and poetry. I have studied business and science at University of Guelph, research and copyediting at Ryerson University, and philosophy and literature at every opportunity. And I have traveled tight streets, open fields, and thick forests. What my eclectic experiences have shown me is the importance and power of stories around the world.
Closer to home, I have learned about the power of stories within the community, having written biographical, historical, and lifestyle articles for Toronto’s Gleaner News, and two yearlong columns – one a look at Toronto’s history through the experiences of a former Annex woman, the other an exploration of the rich cultural and ethnic diversity of Toronto’s west end.
I have also written character stories for the Municipality of York Region, the York Region Newspaper Group’s Business Times, and Municipal World magazine; a biography for CBC Radio One; and scripts for Unexplained Canada, a six-part television documentary that appeared on Space: The Imagination Station and CBC Country Canada.
Today I help companies and individuals tell their stories. My clients are diverse but my focus is clear: I offer my commitment to great writing, to reflect the power and spirit in the people I write about.
Now I am here to tell your story. So give me a call or send me an email. You’ll find my rates reasonable, my personality friendly, and my creativity absolutely ferocious when it comes to helping you communicate powerfully.
